Stepping on this rug is like stepping onto a soft cloud. So comfortable on the feet. I got the blue and it looks great. Washed it in the washing machine with no problem. I dry my feet before exiting the shower, so I don't know about absorbancy. But I really like this rug and will order again next time I need a new one.

This bathmat is very servicable and it has just enough substance to make it sturdy and safe underfoot but it isn't overwhelmingly thick. Your feet won't disappear into inches of fluff but there's just enough padding to make stepping out of the bath or shower comfortable. The rubber backing, while thin, is enough to keep the mat in place on cold, slippery tile floors. Upon arrival the rubber backing had (and still has) a large crease in it from the packaging that stubbornly won't smooth out but…

Wish this was larger. We love the plushness and softness of the mat, so comforting when you’re stepping out from the shower.
