I had "flooded" a carpeted basement and was using a rented blower when I decided to get my own as the cause of the flooding was unclear. It has arrived and it is what everyone wants. Half the noise of the smaller unit I rented. I tested it and blew the painting off the wall. He put it under the carpet and picked up the carpet and carpeted the whole room and half of the second room. Dries up after three days. Built like a tank. Heavy, but the features are above expectations.

I REALLY wanted to like this device. The fan seemed solid. Used 3 times with no problems and then this week I decided to take full advantage of what is locked up at home to clean carpets. Started, fell asleep and won't turn back on. For the $200 I paid for junk I expected more. Now that I've heard, do I really have to ship the unit back to California for the warranty? Looks like a very solid fan. Very powerful. The included manual lists 4050 cfm (less than 4200 in the promotional specs) and draws 11/12/13 amps on low/mid/high as opposed to the 10 amp max in the promotional specs. It's quite loud, but I think it's generally to be expected from a device that produces this type of CFM. Updated 12/23/19 - I have upgraded my previous rating to 4 stars due to the excellent response to customer service from this company. They sent me a new fan right away, no questions asked! I was out of town at the time of delivery so I can only assume it didn't arrive until a few days later. I haven't even had the opportunity to return the defective fan.
