All in one compact device

This little wifi socket is great, I've used the indoor versions of it and wanted to use it outside but was always worried about the weather and getting wet, now I have I don't have to worry anymore, now I can control everything from burglar alarms to Christmas lights during the holidays. A traditional power outlet is fine, but being able to control it from home or from anywhere in the world is much better.

Finally working but it was a very long process to connect to my wifi

Finally working but it was a very long process to connect to my wifi. I was only able to connect in compatibility mode, but still it took hours to finally connect it to my network. I have lots of smart devices (30+) and all kinds of ZigBee, Z-Wave and some Wi-Fi and I've never had that many connection issues. The router was on the other side of the wall. You should place the LED on the same side as the switch. I installed this Christmas light socket under the roof and it was very difficult to…

Does not come with cable; installation is dangerous; does not work with home automation software

Cable shown attached. None of them come with the product. Then when installing the cable, the terminal to which it is connected is located directly in front of the entry point, blocking it. This makes the connection very insecure and there are no strain reliefs to ensure the cable is secure. And the case really isn't very weatherproof or durable. Then, to make it work with home automation software, you need to flash it with Tasmota. And this is not a Sonoff "DIY" item in their "DIY" line, so…
