UPDATE: - The battery life is amazing. Left it on for about 20 hours (while music was playing), came back to find it had about 10% battery left. The buttons are too sensitive. If you keep it in your pockets, it will turn on 90% of the time. The HOLD switch does not prevent the device from being switched on. The only way to say it's correct is to compare it to Sony's MP3 players of the past. None of the problems I had with it were remotely related to the older metal-bodied versions.
