Requires additional plates from Sony when used with TX7

Although Sony advertises that it is compatible with TX7, the two required plates for use with TX7 were missing from the box when I bought this part. In this case, call Sony customer service at 1.877.865.7669 and ask them to deliver PLATE B and B1 to you free of charge. These are Sony part numbers: 184034821418111601.

Pros
  • Always liked
Cons
  • So far so good

There is a strange paradox here. It's supposed to be a party toy, right? Well I used it a few times during a party but in the end I had to turn it off because it's very uncomfortable for people. Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Reliability

I'd say the ratio of actual shots taken (photos of people and faces, not just the top of the counter, etc.) is around 1 in 15 shots. . It's pretty much useless. I gave it two stars because I also entertained my friends and…

Much smaller than I imagined

I used this camera for a few days and was surprised at how clear the images were even with a mixed light source (window lighting, incandescent and fluorescent table lamps). My three cats hate my camera flashes and share the stage whenever they see my camera flash. When I used the Sony WX-1, they dangled and acted like cats because no flash was used. I took a few shots without flash and they were very sharp! Both of my Nikon compacts, the p6000 and p5100, were more expensive but useless and…
