Just what I needed. I like it when there is music playing for background noise to calm the dogs down. This device is a perfect match for my iPod nano.

The phone will not fit in the slot unless I remove the iPhone case which is very difficult to remove. When there is an incoming call, the music will be interrupted.

This may be an old model iPod dock but it has excellent sound quality and I can't say enough about its quality work. I've been listening to my favorite songs for a few months now and really like my Sony Portable Dock.

This was the first Sony iPod dock I had. I actually have two of these and after a few years they are still going strong. The newer version has a radio but is much larger and heavier. If you don't need a radio and can still find one of these units then this is a great buy.

We've owned it for over 3 seasons. It was used in the backyard when we grilled (connected to electricity) and batteries when we were camping. Despite being knocked off a table, thrown into the rain, and rolled around in a car, he keeps ticking. The sound is decent and the battery life is acceptable.

Pros:1. Easy to use 2. Portable3. Batteries are not required; AC power plug provided4. The remote control is easy to use 5. Works on all MP3 players. Just buy a 3.5mm stereo audio cable for the adapter on the back of the speaker. Cons: 1. Audio sounds compressed so you don't get the full range of voices and instruments; it sounds like you are listening to AM radio. 2. This speaker document is exactly what I wanted! I knew I could trust it because it's Sony, but it exceeded all my expectations. I use this with my iPhone. The size is perfect - not too big and not too small. I love that it's light weight and easy to unplug and carry to the kitchen if I want to listen to music while I cook dinner and then take it back to the bedroom at night so it's charged and ready in the morning as a my alarm clock can serve .
