Great little radio in personal radios

Excellent AM and FM reception. Direct digital tuning, no drift. Much better than Sony's new digital laptop. I already have one, bought it as a backup.

Pros
  • Rugged construction
Cons
  • Requires outlet

Disappointed: Portable AV

Just received the radio and took out the headphones and they were torn when we took them out. It should be a new part. I'm not sure if the radio is working properly or not. Headphones are definitely interchangeable.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Piggy bank price

Good reception on your own radios

Since my receiver doesn't have a built-in radio, I took it with me as a radio source. The reception is good without an external antenna. Easy to use with digital channel search and 4-channel memory. Highly recommended!

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • No instructions

Bad product from Sony

I'm from Sony. I was expecting a very good product but I was disappointed. The device is quite light and compact, but FM reception is very poor. In local mode, the sound appears and disappears. When switching to DX mode, there is unbearable noise and noise. I'm tired of using it for 3 days and am returning it. I used to be impressed with the overall quality of Sony products but now I prefer other brands like Panasonic.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • So far so good

I could not hear the necessary stations

I returned the SRF-M35 shortly after purchasing it. Interference from other stations prevented me from using it: I was able to pick up the station I wanted within a few seconds of turning on the radio, before the other station was interfering with it. None of my other radios have this problem, so I've concluded that the SRF-M35 is to blame. This may be due to my region or local stations associated with this device, or I may have just received a faulty device so your mileage may vary.

Pros
  • practical thing
Cons
  • There are more interesting options.

Nice little workout radio

I need something light, small that I can use comfortably at the gym while I work out. This product is near perfect. it is very light and has a belt clip that i can attach to my shorts. I would have hoped the headphones were more "sporty" but they are rather old fashioned headphones. There is no wrist strap, but I prefer the arm clip to the wrist strap when working out. Overall I would recommend this AM/FM radio player for its size, versatility and good price.

Pros
  • Easy to set up
Cons
  • Not sure

Sturdy little radio just perfect

I got my Sony little radio 2 years ago and it still works. I've been using it almost every day for 2 years and have never had any problems with it. I've dropped it probably a dozen times, accidentally kicked and kicked it, dropped it in the lake and sat in the sun for many hours. I wouldn't be surprised if it stopped ticking after all that abuse, but it still has the same great sound quality it did the first time. It's very small and easily fits in your pocket, making it a great workout…

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Something different
