Thanks to my knowledge gained in practice at a music school, I can confidently say that Sony has nailed it with these on-ear headphones. The extra bass adds depth to my music, giving me a surround-sound experience, and the microphone quality for phone calls is impressive. Sound quality is good but lacks high and mid frequencies compared to bass. I wanted cheap and loud headphones with strong bass, they are perfect for that. However, they are not very comfortable and the build quality is fine. Also, the cables are very annoying, so I'd recommend getting one of the more expensive wireless models. I was also annoyed that there is only one button. There are no volume up/down buttons.

The description states that the built-in remote control has a microphone, allows you to skip tracks and answer calls and also change the volume. However, you cannot control the volume with the built-in remote control. There is no getting around this, including setting up a smart key app. This was ultimately disappointing because my main desire was to be able to control the volume in my next pair of headphones, even if they didn't have added bass.
