Good boots. Bought for my nephew who has wide feet. Once he sat long enough for us to put them on, they fit great and he looked comfortable. I bought both black and khaki (regular, wide fitting was not available, but regular boots will still fit). Black is a canvas upper with rubber bottom and outsole. Khaki is coated leather with a rubber sole and bottom.

My daughter loves these boots and has lived in them ever since we bought them. We enlarged her to give her more room to grow. She wears thicker shoes with socks. She loves the button closure that pulls her together and the color. I love that they hold up really well when she wears them on a daily basis.

As an adult who buys children's shoes, I didn't mind all the reviews saying they were too heavy for children. I probably should have been. These things are heavy, but not too heavy to carry for hours. These are the only pair of winter boots I have ever owned/worn so take that into account when making your decision.
