Feels thin and not as durable.

Very thin, lightweight buckle. The print is cut off and changed halfway to the belt, and this is a very thin material, so with thicker pants like jeans, it seems that the belt cannot tightly hold the waist of the pants. At 36, he has 7 inches of belt material left.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Cord is shorter than other picks

Really overpriced cheese product

I wanted to return this crap but I have to pay not only for receiving but also for sending it back. I cut off a $.10 plastic buckle (even plastic seems cheap) and used army surplus I had lying around. The belt looked beautiful in the post, but it's one of those things where appearances can be very deceiving! You would thank me later.

Width of the belt in women's size!

The belt looks good, there is a plastic buckle. I have a problem with the belt width. My mistake is that I assumed the belt was a man's size, but in reality it looks more like a woman's belt due to its reduced width of only 1.1/4 inches. (see photo) Again, I can't get the strap out because I didn't read the entire description. So if a 1.1/4 inch belt fits you, this belt is for you. As long as I like the pattern, mine will keep coming back.

Pros
  • Good item
Cons
  • High price

Very well made, the best among women

I bought 2 belts about a year ago. I was concerned that the buckle is plastic and also that the belt would be securely fastened. The straps are used every day and hold up very well. I love the prints that are available. I also like that the straps are made in the USA. I loved them so much that I sent them to my family as a gift and they were impressed and loved them too.

Pros
  • Excellent overall properties

Comfortable strap and secure clasp

After figuring out how to use the plastic clasp (video on website), the strap became my favorite. The buckle is difficult to open (easy to fasten) compared to most buckles, but has proven to be very secure and never adjusts or opens on its own. Width and weight also match my hiking pants perfectly. I highly recommend this web belt.

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Hard to say

This is a replacement for one I bought many years ago.

I bought this to replace what I bought through REI at least 12-16 years ago. The original has a slightly different color, it is not green but blue. It's still available but with a metal buckle. When we travel I like the plastic buckle so I don't have to fiddle with the strap and all that other nonsense that needs to be made. The plastic buckle also reduces the weight. Ironically, it was the buckle that broke, so I had to replace the strap. I think the lifespan I got from the belt/buckle was…

Pros
  • Absolute Legend
Cons
  • Something else

The Olive Aztec is darker than in the picture

The pattern is not as pronounced as in the picture, but it still looks good. I bought the same belt as the REI and it was so stiff that it sometimes poked my side when I was sitting with my shirt open. It's a little less stiff and doesn't. I'm very happy with it!

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • I doubt

Very nice belt best in accessories

This is a Christmas present for me and I really like this belt. The size is perfect and although I have a few centimeters more, they are not long so there is no need to shorten the strap. It's comfortable and does its job well. This is my first experience with a cam-lock buckle, but it works well (slight caveat: there are no instructions on how to use a cam-lock buckle, and that would be a nice addition). Generally very satisfied, thank you Thomas Bates!

Pros
  • I hold my fists
Cons
  • No power
