Review Updated: Replacement Parts

The product appears to be of good quality but the installation is a bit difficult. This initial review was for my 2014 Mercedes C300. However having received the same filter for my 2019 Ford F-150 I couldn't be happier. This filter is way better than the OEM filter that came with my truck. And the installation fit better than the original filter.

Pros
  • Air Filters and Accessories
Cons
  • Updates

Great price and with the instructions included I didn't waste time looking for instructions. Unfortunately, due to an already known issue with these vehicles, this did not eliminate the stale air in my Mercedes. The air filter is not to blame, Mercedes is just announcing a recall to fix mold growth in the air system.

Pros
  • Cabin Air Filter
Cons
  • high price

Great Filter - Air Filter and Accessories

This filter replaced my 2013 Mercedes Benz C300. I watched some videos on YouTube and learned how to delete the old one. It came out pretty easy. Spear Head's new one fitted just right. It fits snugly into the filter housing. The sliding locking clip was a bit stubborn at first, but once I got the filter in place the clip snapped into place to hold the filter securely in place. I will definitely be buying from Spear Head again when the time comes. Also at the right price! volume

This filter is the best fit and provides a good fit

The Spear Head filter offers the following advantages over other brands I have tried: 1) Most important - look at the pictures I have included. I highlighted the critical spots on the filters in yellow. The Spear Head filter has the correct holes to allow the filter to fully penetrate and seat properly in the housing. My C250 MBZ has two bolts deep in the filter assembly where you place the filter and all other brands I've tried don't have the right depth in these holes to ensure a full fit…

Exhaust Smell Gone

I used to use different brands of cabin air filters, I just wish I had found this brand before I bought other brands for my other cars. this is a great filter. I always turn mine on circulating air so I don't smell outside air. I've been using this filter with the outside air vent for about 3 weeks. I don't have an outside air odor that really works 99.9%.

Pros
  • Enjoy fresh, clean country air: Road grime, exhaust fumes, bad odors and common irritants must deal with several layers of protection before they enter your vehicle's interior: (1) Particulate Filter (2) Ignition Filter (3 ) ) Adsorption Filter (4 ) Woven Coconut Shell Charcoal Filter
Cons
  • Out of fashion

Difficult to install, quality seems good

I had to watch the installation video. The filter was identical in size to the original filter but with slight variations on the foam insulation on the sides. It was very, very tight and I had to struggle to finally fit it where I could close the lid. It may just be the way it was installed on the Mercedes, but it took longer than I expected. Otherwise it seems to be a good filter. Otherwise it seems to be a good filter

Pros
  • 2X Heavier Than Standard Cabin Filters: We use a thick, industrial-grade electrostatic filter that attracts even the smallest particles, while tightly packed activated carbon keeps gases and odors out of the cabin; Use the comparison table in the product images to see how much filter performance you are missing out on when buying conventional cabin filters with or without activated carbon.
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.
