Disappointing Radiator Purchase

According to my experience, I regret buying this radiator. It's supposed to keep my engine cool but it's barely effective. The pros: None. The cons: it leaks and falls apart easily. Don't waste your money.

Pros
  • Durable construction with high-quality materials.
Cons
  • Potential for the radiator to leak over time.

The premium radiator didn't last long.

This radiator only lasted more than 3 years. My original cooler lasted 17 years. This radiator has started to rust on the nut that holds the transmission cooling line to the plastic case. This is the line that is next to the lower radiator hose connection. Because of this, antifreeze flows from this nut. I will have to buy another radiator.

Pros
  • OE pins are included if required to allow for thermal expansion.
Cons
  • Not as thick as other options.

nice radiator fast free shipping with my prime

This is the second replacement radiator I have bought for my car. The first was from another seller on ebay. The core itself actually dissolved on the 7 core tubes that entered the tank just after the 1 year warranty expired. I've only used antifreeze and distilled water in my radiators, so I don't think this should have happened. While I can't compare my new Spectra Premium to my last unnamed radiator as I haven't had it that long I can tell you it was a little more expensive than my last oneโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Subject to aging and endurance tests to verify performance in extreme weather conditions
Cons
  • Unbelievable price
