These are very nice panties and they are suitable for the pool and the like. You can fold the top of the belt very easily if you need a bottom tan line. Not sure how it will hold up on the beach because the top of the strap folds easily. It doesn't fit snug enough for me to wear comfortably in the waves. If you just walk around it looks very nice.

How can they be too big and small at the same time? The waist drops through the fabric and the shorts are open-legged like a swimsuit so everything hangs down.

I'm 5'5" and 115 pounds. The little ones are perfect for my waist and hips, but they were oddly loose in the crotch and too skinny - I could feel it when I closed my legs spread wide.(like you do 100% swimming) Entire pool has a view if you get what I mean. Frog kicks are out of the question. I think it has to do with the high booty to thigh ratio to do.
