Sperry Men's Olive 2-Eye Washable Shoes Review

I love my new Sperry Topsiders. I bought my first pair in California in 1977 and haven't been without a pair since. I've tried pretty much every other deck shoe over the years but never found an alternative that even remotely compares in terms of traction, durability or comfort.

The price was incredible. $35 less than the mall. These shoes are made of soft leather and apparently washable. A great summer shoe for me.

My husband has a pair of these shoes with the exact look and name but they are over 10 years old. He wanted to replace his old shoes so we bought a size 8 like the other shoes. When we got the size 8 it was too tight. We returned the size 8 with no problems and ordered a size 8 1/2. He tried them on and towards the front of the shoes, at the toes, the shoes appear to have become very narrow. We had to return the 8 1/2 as they were too tight on the toes. This is my second purchase of this Sperry model and I have personal experience. Highly recommended to all sailors. The shipping by the producer was embarrassing.

Got them for my boyfriend and he loves them! They are super classy and go with almost everything. If you live in a warmer climate like ours, canvas is especially good.

The perfect summer shoe for southern France and a great fit. Extremely soft leather, which makes the shoes look like slippers. Excellent quality.

I have several pairs of these original classic pumps. Very comfortable, simple and stylish. Also very persistent, even on wet marble floors.

Bought these for my son he is in high school and has a particular taste in fashion. They passed the test and that's a good price for a Sperry.

All other Sperrys are true to size. I've been wearing them for many years. I have over a dozen different styles in my collection all US size 10. I bought these washable suede styles through Walmart Australia and although they are US size 10 they are too small and tight and in fact they are almost US Size 9 and also not a Sperry quality from the past. I love these shoes so much I bought more from Walmart and have postponed them for 2017/2018 when the current pair wears out. The current pair is actually from the Designer Shoe Warehouse but since they were out of stock we bought them here. Forget Zappos - they have their own weird barcode system and you can't be sure it will exactly match what you have. Don't forget to grab the red and pink set too!

The sole is longer than the toe of the shoe, causing it to snag on carpets, etc., causing tripping. I used to have the same shoes as many other Sperry boat shoes with no problems. I wrote this to Walmart with no response so I'm still living with stumbles. Shoes.

I really like these shoes! The leather is soft, they look very nice and the sole of the shoe has great cushioning. There isn't much arch support though, I add some mid length supports myself but am very happy with the purchase. I didn't find it necessary to break them in, the skin was already soft.

Has been elegant and inexpensive. Can't complain, & yet to be broken in. The fabric is well made and looks great. Thanks for attention.

Pretty cool shoes. They fit and feel comfortable on my feet. They're so different from the brown pumps I've lived in for years, they look a little more "sporty" and maybe cooler. But that's stupid, they're just a different color. I love her. I wear them with light pants or shorts. By the way, they are actually washable. I cooked dinner and put some tomato sauce on my shoe. I just washed it off with some ivory soap and hot water. The stain looked dark when wet but dried flawlessly. I am so happy

I've bought several pairs of these boots over the years but have had a problem with them. The leather didn't feel, and one boot looked like the toe had been separated from the sole. I'm no expert on if anything is fake, but at least these are factory seconds that should probably be saved. They weren't even packed in a Sperry box, just an ordinary shoe box with no tags. I found another seller on Revain and bought the same model and there was a big difference in quality.

So Comfortable. But make sure you go half a size larger than you normally wear. These are the only shoes I can wear without socks and they are still comfortable and don't sweat.

My husband loves them. He ties his ties and wears them like slip-ons without socks. You look good. I'm glad I bought them!
