Unusually tall liner - wish the fit was the same as other brands in the same size

I wish they would work but I estimate their liner is 50% taller than several sets. From the 11.5 Sebago skinny pumps I have and the Allen Edmonds pumps I checked out today after these Sperry shoes arrived, this makes for a casual fit. I don't mind that the shoes arrived worn so I suspect someone else returned them. The condition is not too bad and I would like to keep them if they fit more than other brands in the same size. I find it odd that these Sperry shoes look bigger and sturdier than my
