Only requires 2 1/2 to 3 liters for standard height. Get a quality LubeLocker pad. Don't use the cheap one in the box. No more messy liquid gaskets or waiting for the material to dry before filling a truck differential. fuse.

The differential cover was packaged properly and arrived with no scratches or defects. The included screws torqued to 28 ft-lbs with no problem. Presumably they were retrofitted due to burglary reports. My diff is 9.75 F150. Took 4kw. fill up to the bottom hole. Be sure to tighten the fill and drain plugs as they are finger tight. The included pad looked good but I chose the Lube Locker as I had already ordered it and wanted it to be last.

Includes gasket and new screws. I took it to the guy who does the powder coating to change the color. He says the finish is a powder coat, but noticed a few spots where it was already chipping. He stated that what he is wearing will not chip. Looks sturdy and I bought it primarily because it comes with a drain plug so I can change the oil in the future. * The cover has not been removed for about 2 months. I have installed this cover on my 2012 Ford F150 5.0 V8 9.75 rear about 5000 miles and have had no problems or leaks. The cap is a nice improvement over the stock cap as it has a drain plug which makes changing the grease on the back end much easier. There is a lot of debate as to whether you should use the liner that comes with the spice lid alone or in addition to the silicone/RTV liner. As many have commented on here. It's the same coverage as Ford Performance at half the price. Solid cast and heavy. Aside from all the other comments, a few more things to note: FIRST, the gasket that came with mine is a quality part, but it only fits on the cover and is ONE WAY different! This can be misleading as it looks symmetrical, but it isn't! If the screw holes don't line up, simply turn the gasket over and the holes line up. It is always best to buy a LubeLocker Pad.
