I love this iPad case, especially the rose gold one. I had the same for my previous iPad but got a new iPad so I needed a new case. However, the sides of this tablet are so stiff that when I place it on my iPad, the screen protector lifts, creating blisters in the screen protector. The Spigen glass recommended for this application does not interfere and leaves approximately 1mm of surrounding space when installed over factory glass. I'm wondering if Amazon is merging all the Spigen case reviews together, otherwise I don't understand how this case and glass can blister. In fact, the channel formed will most likely blow away your cookie crumbs from time to time. A rigid back that I think needs a very thin iPad to keep it from flexing. This case is a little tighter in the corners than I would like which causes issues with the screen protector. This case does a great job too. My six year old lost the game and started going insane. I caught him jumping while using his iPad as a covert trampoline on the couch. He also dropped it on the floor (our house is on a concrete slab) and also dropped it on chair and table legs while trying to plug in the cord to charge it. It's still alive!

I wanted to like it. I was looking for a non-bulky tablet case that wasn't a folio type. I have phone cases from the same brand and I really like them. But the tablet case is unsuccessful. First, the back panel scratches very easily, aggravated by the fact that it doesn't fit properly. Part of the back next to the Apple logo in the center doesn't match the rest of the case. I sent it back because of the bad fit.

This is a great case, but it's very tight - enough to damage the screen protector I put on first. Be careful when putting the iPad back in, especially if you have a screen protector. Pros: - very secure - solid drop protection - good aesthetics Cons: - installation requires some work (at least with iPad 8th gen) - does not work with all screen protectors (very important as this is not a folio design) - somewhat heavy
