Doesn't last long in cable boxes

The stuff has been in place for 3 months and is already rotting. It's wrapped around my amp battery cable. I had to move it to work on something else and it just started to crumble. I will not buy again.

Don't expect it to be good!

Used for about 3 feet, this material is thin and will break if you stick a wire into it. You have to glue it on to keep the wire inside. Just go to Lowes and buy 10ft sections for 2.48, you'll be much better off.

Extremely thin light material.

The loom does the main work. My biggest concern is the extremely thin and light material it's made of. For non-automotive use I'm sure it's fine, I'm worried it's on a vehicle anywhere near heat as the material is the thinnest I've seen.

Multiple uses best in wire boxes

It arrived same day and I used it to cover exposed tail light wires on a trailer. I also used it to keep the aerobic clarifier pump air hose from getting caught in the weed eater cord. I'm glad I bought more than I need because I'm sure I'll find many uses for it.

Kitty Proof: Cable Management

I have used this to keep phone charger cords, laptop cords etc away from my cats. They played with it a little for the first few days, but have since had enough. Now I can put my cables anywhere! Yes, the only downside is the crackle it makes when you step on it, but it's like an early warning that you're about to step on it. So 50/50%

Exactly what I needed

I ordered 2 other cable covers before I got this one and wish I had ordered this one first. While it's a bit thinner than any of the other products I've received, it's exactly what I needed. I'm trying to keep my cat from chewing all my cord and this is the perfect cover. It was half the price of the first one I ordered so will definitely order again if I need more.

  • Nice to use

great, just what I needed

I had to keep the rabbit from chewing the wires a bit. It's a slightly softer material than what discourages a small animal from chewing, but it costs 1/3 less and makes a very unique sound when they try to chew on it. So you have time to chase them away. They don't like it either, as they only take a small bite and then move on. Overall great product, very satisfied.

Pros
  • Very impressive

A very thin walled product, not the thick walled plastic commonly used in cut looms. Sure it does the job of holding wires, worked great for my structured wiring project (indoors), but I didn't expect it to withstand the rigors that detachable looms typically put to use: routing and protecting wires under a car's chassis . I wasn't expecting much for the price; However, I had higher minimum expectations of the product. My recommendation: Use meh for a light interior, use Fogettaboutit for a…
