Works fine, glass not pressed tight enough to seal. I had to add a 3/4 inch washer behind the rubber ring for it to seat and seal properly.

item works as it should but i used an external OEM gasket to make it tighter and tighter, the gasket is flimsy and doesn't close the gap inside and out.

Overall a good product the only issue I had was the gaskets were flimsy and the bolt wouldn't tighten on the gasket to to enable this seal. glass, so I had to improvise.

The part that protrudes through the window is too long so there is no clamping force to hold the part in place no matter how hard you tighten the strut bolt. I had to add large washers to fix it and they still don't fit well.

Eliminates damper loosening due to aluminum failure. but this replacement fits snugly on this 98 honda crv but is not tightened enough to keep water out, it takes 2 rubber washers on the glass to press it down. can get better results on other car models
