I got them for my granddaughters. One is a size 8 and the other is just a size smaller so I gave each of them one. This shirt is true to size and fits best in a size 8. The pink shirt is a little lighter than the picture and the lucky recipient was so thrilled with the hot pink with purple stripes. The blue shirt has very cute and shiny cat eyes. I'm not sure why it's called a thermal jacket. Yes the shirts have a thumb hole and you can layer them, but not sure why it's warm. It is not 100% cotton as stated in the description but 60% cotton and 40% polyester. We used this on our recent fall trip and put on a t shirt and my 4 year old felt nice and warm. The kitty print is cute and the 2-pack is almost $20, so it's not exactly the right fit. It is easy to clean and requires minimal maintenance.
