Not as warm as I was hoping

Not as warm as I was hoping. The last 14° days have been an opportunity to try these new gloves, you can feel the wind cutting through the fabric. Also, under no circumstances do they work on a tablet or smartphone, maybe it's just me. Now I'm looking for a really warm pair for the rest of the winter. They fit great and are good gloves, but not for temperatures below 25°. IMHO

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes

Good gloves, not great touchscreen gloves.

Good gloves not great touch screen gloves. I bought them for winter break in New York. They were warm but only one finger per side for the touchscreen (no thumbs). Also the touchscreen material on one finger on each side was terrible in my gloves. When more than a few keystrokes were required, it was easier to just remove the glove.

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • Reliability

Every part is worth the cost of these gloves.

This is my second pair of these gloves and unfortunately one of those secrets no one knows. These gloves are absolutely amazing and I use them all the time, I'm in the military and I use these gloves in the mornings when we do our drills and I haven't had a single problem with them. I also don't have to take them off when I try to use my phone.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Useless features

Comfortable, warm, non-waterproof

Glad I found them here at a great price. I had a couple of these a few years ago but I lost one. They're great for cold weather (yes!) as long as you don't plan on getting them wet. Super comfortable. Perfect for washing your car in winter, warming up your hands on a cold steering wheel, watching or any other outdoor activity that doesn't require getting them wet. Definitely not waterproof.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Weight

These are my favorite gloves

I've used them in all weather conditions and when I need a lighter (but still decently warm) glove for walking outside or holding a freezing cold steering wheel in the winter. So they definitely won't warm you up in sub-zero temperatures and they're not waterproof, BUT they're very comfortable and keep your hands warm enough, especially when it's moderately cold outside.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Attractive but cheaply made. Not worth the money just for the name.

Nice gloves but cheap. Unfortunately, this seems to be the trend at both Spyder and UA. The side of the palm started to unroll after only a few light uses - obviously don't expect to actually grab anything when you put them on. Insulation - they are fairly thin and permeable and only useful in temperatures around 25 degrees Fahrenheit. Also, if you decide to buy them for looks rather than function, be aware that they are a little big.

Pros
  • Easy set up
Cons
  • Repair

Good lightweight gloves for "chilly " but not "cold " weather

My husband usually wears gloves in between large and large, these suit him well in large. He said they are warm due to their lightweight material so he can wear them on camping trips or in the garage on cooler days. But when it was under 32 and/or a cold wind was blowing, he wasn't warm enough and switched to his real winter gloves. They're definitely not windproof or waterproof (but they don't claim to be either, so we knew we would). We got them in black/light yellow because for some reason…

Pros
  • Best in their niche
Cons
  • will be added later

Amazing midweight gloves

I love everything Spyder can do. I practically live in my Spyder baselayer jacket in the winter, and on the slopes that's no problem; Spyder jacket and gloves (I prefer the Columbia boarding pants but that's another review). I spend a lot of time in Denver on business and love walking around downtown. While it's still not cold enough to tear the heavy-duty Spyder ski gloves, it's still pretty chilly. I was looking for mid-weight gloves that can be worn with both casual and business attire…

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Not sure
