these are the best grapefruit spoons I've ever had. Most of the ones I've used I've yet to pre-cut with grapefruit, but they work so well it's not necessary. They cut well, are comfortable to hold and easy to use.

I was taught how to separate grapefruits from parts with a utility knife, first walking along the edge and then making cuts on either side of the barrier between EACH fruit section. Needless to say... that was bad advice! These spoons are well thought out and turn this immensely tiring task into a chore.

These grapefruit spoons are awesome. They are thick and strong, and the teeth gently dig into the grapefruit's flesh, eliminating the need for a knife. I love grapefruits but rarely eat them because you have to cut them to get them. And these spoons do it all without feeling overly sharp in the mouth. I was sad when I lost my grandmother's grapefruit spoon and asked the stores if they sold them, well they gave me weird looks. I was glad I came across this set. Not as good as my grandma's, but very close to the second. The edges around the handle are a little rough, but that might just be my nitpicking. Thanks to the special design of the spoon, I can easily reach the grapefruit pieces. The raven seems to fit this small space better than my grandmother's.

More importantly, these spoons fit perfectly into the grapefruit's membranes, allowing me to scoop out the sweet fruit. I can finally push down and catch the rest of the juice.
