I really like that they have a protective layer of resin over the rhinestones. I didn't read and didn't see that when I bought it, maybe I wasn't paying attention, but I was pleasantly surprised! I have to buy a new pair about 2 times a year as the rhinestones keep falling out. They've been doing this for ages.

I have several other pairs of stainless steel plugs. I have absolutely no problems with them. I used them for ONE DAY and my ears exploded and were so itchy. They are NEVER nickel free. I don't care what anyone says, it's not actually stainless steel. Don't buy these if you have sensitive ears!

My absolute favorite. I bought a lot of such pairs, but the stones fell out or the back of the screw is sharp and cuts me. This couple is INCREDIBLE! It has an epoxy finish on the bricks and the back of the screw is filled so there are no sharp edges. I will only buy these headphones from now on and recommend them to anyone with swollen ears.

I bought these specifically for epoxy coated rhinestones and because of that I got my benefit. I underestimated the plumpness of my earlobes so thought they were a bit thin so be careful when unscrewing them so you don't pinch your earlobes. They are also of decent weight. Update August 17th: I had to take them off due to irritation and size. They weren't kind to my rags. They were too short and I couldn't screw them all the way in without too much pressure.

They are beautiful, absolutely gorgeous. But they are short, especially if you want to wear them after the size expands or you have fat petals. The screw comes off easily enough so you need to look. They are comfortable and shiny. I love them and although they are short I would probably buy other colors. TO UPDATE! Due to their shortness or the nature of the metal, I woke up 5 hours after reaching for burning ears and stuck tunnels. So buyers beware. I ordered a pair in 9/16
