This is really great for cleaning cast iron! Just pour some hot water into the pan, scrub with this brush and rinse. After that, dry the pan completely, lightly oil it and heat the pan on the stove for about 1 minute and let it stand there until it cools. The spice in my pans has never looked so dark and slick until I bought this scrubber and used this method.

This little piece of mail cleaned my cast iron Lodge pan amazingly well. I just add some hot water and gently spin the scrubber. All the little sticky bits of food come off with little to no effort.
