🔆 Gauge Wire 316L in High-Quality Stainless Steel Review

This is great wire for many things like hanging pictures and making jewellery. It is NOT intended for making rebar, take a thicker wire if you intend to, even if it is a small rebar.

I bought this wire for jewelry making because stainless steel craft or jewelry wire is prohibitively expensive even though it's the same. It is almost as soft as good copper wire and is therefore good for winding and weaving.

I originally wanted this thing for vaping the vehicle but my device doesn't work well with it. The nature of SS means that the voltage changes as it heats up and the difference is quite large. My device didn't work well with it except in power mode.

This steel wire is ideal for making e-cigarette coils. Durability is good, ohm resistance is lower with stainless steel. When you first charge your coil be aware that the metal will release toxins, this is normal and will fully dissipate with normal use.

Heats cleanly and evenly every time. Stainless steel is naturally somewhat soft, so it takes a skilled hand to suck up the wick so it holds its shape. I can't say how long the wire will last as I only twisted six turns and didn't have to change any of them as they work very well.

I bought this wire for jewelry making and it works great for my purposes. It's hard to manipulate, but once you've got it where you want it, it usually doesn't move. I've never worked with wire, so unfortunately I don't have anything to compare it to. I will attach some photos of the pendants I made with this wire.
