The Grabber Needle saved my nerves. It's that easy to use.

Exactly what you need! I threaded an elastic string of beads into the hem/seam of the sleeveless bodice to make the arm opening smaller. My daughter wants to tie the strings/strings on her sweatshirts. Both projects require no cutting or sewing. This needle sits snugly at the end of the rope rather than adding extra bulk by folding (when threaded through a needle eye). I need a conductor to insert the elastic rope into the seam. This needle gripper makes it possible. I'm so 😊 happy 😊

Pros
  • they are strong enough. Steel material is sufficiently polished, smooth surface. Makes life easier.
Cons
  • I'll write later

It's amazing

I like to change the laces on most of my baseball gloves to give them a different shape and look. I also make gloves for my kids and boys on our travel team. (In 2020 I laced 23 gloves). I have several different types of leatherworking tools and stringers, and my favorite has always been the chunky needle that sometimes comes with glove lacing kits. Sometimes with a new glove, when the holes are still very tight, I've had trouble pulling the cord out of the back of the needle. Because of this…

Pros
  • These needles are made of high quality stainless steel and work easily in tight spaces.
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Clever, easy-to-use lacing needles

As a knotter, I used bobby pins, yarn needles, rope, pliers, tweezers, lacing needles, etc. to make tying cord easier. My favorite tool used to be a pin, kind of like those needles: the tip looks like a cotter pin with a very small eyelet, and the spine is a pair of pliers with gripping teeth that lock in place with a sliding metal tube. The tube is key as many tweezers have a Saturn-like ring that doesn't offer a streamlined profile as you thread the needle through your knots. These needles…
