Very good door closer. Pleased with the design and installation details. All parts are used. Good design. I will recommend in the future. Installed on three coastal doors to keep air conditioning and heat out. Happy with the product.

for heavy doors, i think it is too strong for all regular front doors except front door. Installation instructions are difficult to understand and use - four small pages (covering three installation methods), each with minimal illustrations. Deviation by a few millimeters, you screwed it up.

The locking angle cannot be adjusted. When I first installed it, it held the door open if you opened it more than 80 degrees or so. Behavior changed over the next few weeks. Now it often holds the door open if you only open it 40 degrees and won't close the door unless you push it more than 20 degrees. To make matters worse, this behavior is inconsistent and uncorrectable.
