Made in Taiwan: Ball Hammers

Not pleased to see this Taiwan made proto tool despite the proud 'Made in USA' video ad. So far it looks like a decent tool, but only time will tell.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

Solidly built. - Hand tool

The thing is heavy and strong. Great for knocking out metal joints on a car that won't come apart. There is a 16 oz and a 32 oz version. I'm talking about the 32 ounce version.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • The list will be long.

Love it, I use my hammer every day

Love it, I use my hammer every day and am tired of replacing broken hammer handles. Great pen, very reliable. I think this will continue for many years to come. (Welder/Welder by trade).

Pros
  • Head weight 32 oz
Cons
  • There are more interesting options.

Good hammer for the money.

I work as a technician at a local dealer. I use and abuse my tools on a daily basis. So far this hammer has invariably done everything I needed it to do. It has more vibration than a wooden handle hammer, but I don't have to worry about the head breaking off. Great price for a good hammer. What else would you like?

Pros
  • Molded, textured rubber grip provides a non-slip grip and improved control.
Cons
  • High price.

Great hammer, I've abused it in the past.

Great hammer. 2 lbs is a great spot between a regular cam hammer and a 4 lb rotary hammer. Ideal for car work. The end of the ball joint also proved to be the perfect size to knock out the U-joints on a 2008 F-250 without damaging the axle itself.

Pros
  • Patented anti-vibration technology provides more dampening than traditional solid steel hammers.
Cons
  • I will write back.
