This water bottle is exactly what I was looking for. I have another Stanley Cup (40 oz Adventure Quencher travel jar) that I LOVE but it's not airtight. A straw protrudes from the lid. The water bottle I'm reviewing is airtight and keeps the water cold even after it's been in the sun all day.

A bit pricey but worth it. Waterproof and keeps contents cool all day, even when working on the roof on a hot summer day in direct sunlight. Similar priced items often have a lid that will leak if knocked over. The sturdy construction and railing hook are enough to hook into a bag when climbing stairs. Easy one-handed operation. The metal body can be hot when left out in the sun all day, but the rubber grip and lid are still cool enough to touch.

So when I first bought this product, I noticed that it leaked a lot. With continued use, I believe the leak is due to overflow only. While the gasket is at the bottom to create a seal inside the glass, not at the top. Excess water rises above the seal and drains when tipped over. Because there is so much space above the seal, a lot of water can escape if overfilled. Otherwise a fantastic product!
