UST StarFlash Micro Signal Mirror: Compact & Lightweight for Hiking, Camping, Backpacking and Emergencies Review

Product dimensions are listed on the product page as 1 x 6 x 9 inches. It is not true. Actual measurements are much, much smaller, only 1.5 inches wide and 2 inches high. Not that I led believe I would buy when I made my purchase decision. Very disappointing.

It works well but the description says there is a lanyard. I have no laces - neither in the package nor in the box. Not a big deal, but I chose it because it was easy to attach to my BC. Pooh. I would pay a little more to have it plugged in, but I'm leaving in two days! Not good.

This "emergency/emergency" mirror only tore and detached from the substrate after it was removed from the packaging, which by the way is much stronger and more durable than the mirror itself. But I guess for less than $4 I shouldn't have expected much. Lesson learned, choose a better product next time.

Great design and aiming idea with great instructions. Small enough to fit in an emergency kit. I bought it to use when flying with the life jacket and it fits perfectly in the life jacket pocket. I tied a string to it so it doesn't get lost. I would recommend a retractor for fly fishing pliers, maybe to keep them on the vest. Great overall product.

As other reviews have suggested, this does not work. I figured I was the exception and it would work for me, figured damn why not just get this cheaper little one than the slightly larger and more expensive ones I have? Well, don't think so. Just spend the extra money on something that works. So bottom line: This does NOT work and is a waste of money.
