Excellent - do it! - Bedding Accessories

My husband and I (130lbs each) have been sleeping on it for a year and a half. We had 5 because our bed didn't fit the B pillar either. We had no problems. Nothing breaks, nothing falls off. And we haven't had it easy with them, I assure you. Lots of space under the bed! Do that.

Pros
  • Finally bought it
Cons
  • The cord is shorter than others

Using Booster Beds to Raise a Cutting Table

I use Booster Beds to raise a table that I use to cut fabric for sewing projects. It doesn't exert much downward force, being much lighter than a busy bed. The risers do exactly what I wanted - a more ergonomic cutting surface.

Cons
  • Vulgarity

Unconventional use.

This is non-standard thinking. I didn't use them to raise the bed, I used them for our futon in our shared room. I'm 5ft 11" tall with long legs and a sore knee so it's difficult to sit on something low. When I saw them I thought they were perfect and they are. Now I can vacuum under the futon without any problems.

Pros
  • Useful beyond intended purpose

Works perfectly! About Bedding

I have severe back pain and it hurts to bend at the waist. I usually prepare cat and dog food at the kitchen table, which is a normal height. I'm quite tall so I have to bend over the table which is quite painful. So I bought them to put under the table legs. Oh my god, what a difference that makes! It looks pretty ugly in the kitchen, but I don't care - it gets the job done, my back feels better, and I don't have to stop cooking and making pet medicine halfway through to give my back a breakโ€ฆ

PURCHASED FOR MY SISTER

My sister has trouble getting out of chairs. She is also overweight. She bought 2 of these sets and her husband put them under their sofa. At first it didn't look like it would work as the sofa has armchairs and no legs. But my brother-in-law fastened it under a metal bracket under the sofa. Obviously this adds at least 6 inches in height to the entire sofa! Now she has no problem getting off the couch. Very strong. Very large. Definitely cheaper than buying a "lift chairโ€.

  • Done

  • I don't like it at all, everything is fine

But they are pretty light and I had to have one.

Ordered 2 sets as I need 6 for a king size bed. They do what I need - raise the bed. But they are pretty light and I had to have an extra pair of hands to get them under the frame. When one side is placed, the other side moves :( . (but that could just be operator error . . . .) Plastic top of the stand up lift My bed frame had no cover whatsoever on the metal leg and I wasn't sure if this pressure would affect the plastic top in use I have these in every bedroom in my house - a great place toโ€ฆ

Does exactly what you think it does

This product is no more or less than what is described. I was especially wary of these as they're a lot cheaper, but they're exactly the same ones you see in college bookstores, Walmart, and everywhere else. Perhaps not the most stylish, these black beds are made from durable, lightweight plastic. They are about 6 inches tall and the bed frames rest on square grooves at the top of the riser. They are trapezoidal. This is important to note and is often overstretched: to support the weight, theโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Inspires confidence
Cons
  • Some bugs

The black steps go well with the cherry wood bed frame and neutral terracotta floor. I thought separating the colors would be an issue and suggested I had to create a custom bed skirt to hide the "shoes" but it looks clean and isn't necessary. We bought risers because the new family member is a medium sized wolf hybrid that needs a place to "cave". He loved to sleep and play under my bed when he was little, but then he had a growth spurt and at 4 1/2 months was too big to fit under the bed. Heโ€ฆ
