Micro connector too short

Used for years and finally tried it. No permanent connection to my Samsung Galaxy S7. Another manufacturer's cable will work. The micro USB connector seems to be too short compared to the other working cable.

Suitable for Samsung Galaxy S III with Speck case.

I seem to have ordered 100 different micro USB cables because each one has an unnecessarily large plastic block behind the micro USB connector. This cable actually fits in the small slot of my Samsung Galaxy Speck S III case where the only other cable that really fits me is the original Samsung cable that came with the phone. It appears almost identical to the standard cable, although it's definitely slightly different in size. Let's see how well it holds up over time. At the moment it gets 5…

The cable broke after 2 months of use

I bought "StarTech.com 0.5m White Micro USB Cable - A to Micro B - Micro USB Charging Data" for the first time and broke after 3 weeks there , there was an intermittent connection. Bought the same cable a second time after returning it and it broke after 2 months of regular use. These cables are of very poor quality, don't waste your money.

Replacement Wacom cable.

Bought to replace a broken cable for my Wacom tablet. The original Wacom cable has a thin body and all the other cables I've had are too thick to fit the hole in the case. They're a little thinner and that's all I need. Very happy as Wacom wants $30 for the OEM part but they don't stock everything so that made me doubly happy.

The cord has melted. fire hazard. Avoid at all costs.

I would give fewer stars if I could. I plugged the cable into the USB port. Even before I connected the other end to the device, the air started smelling strange. I look down and the end of the string melts and bubbles. Connecting for less than 30 seconds will cause image corruption. After seeing that I bought a cable to charge my kids' Kindles, I'm very thankful it happened now and not when one of the kids was sitting right next to the charger. This is a dangerous product and has nothing to do
