Perfect fit for our Dell PowerEdge R720 in our 19" 2 post rack. Our Rapid Rails that came with our server didn't have a sliding center mount for a 2-post rack. So it was a great setup solution.

I put it in a StarTech rack so it fits snugly and will probably fit in any 19 inch rack. I like this stand because it has air vents on the bottom so I can tie down the Protectli 6 port firewall, Google fiber router and some extra cable slack with zip/velcro straps. and ZIP bundles to fix the router and firewall.

I bought this shelf to use in a server rack to accommodate a non-rack. The product described being able to carry up to 50 pounds of gear. The UPS weighs about 30-40 pounds and the back of the shelf is sagging. Temporarily placed a Revain box at the bottom in the back to support the weight of the shelf. I expect this to work well for 40lb units that are further distributed on the shelf, but I placed the UPS in the middle of the shelf and then forward where it attaches to the rack.

Not rack mounted but wall mounted. Make sure one side was riveted and the other side used reinforced wall anchors in drywall. Once it was in place I could probably use it as a pull up bar. Perfectly holds cable modem, wireless router and webcam. I connected a flat electrical cord with multiple plugs to it and routed the power cords of all these devices to a multiplug so I didn't have to lug a bunch of cords up the wall. High quality two piece rack mount shelving - great value for the money. So impressed we bought a second shelf. The 1st shelf, installed in the wiring closet, contains the cable modem and router installed above the switches and PoE injector. The 2nd shelf was built into a mobile audio rack. A non-rackmount audio mixer required a shelf. We used (4) - 1" velcro to attach the mixer to the shelf. Perfect! This shelf is strong and sturdy. The vented shelf was useful for dissipating heat in the wiring

This is one of those cases where you get exactly what you expect from what you see online, apart from being made of stronger and thicker steel than I expected , for about $30. . It comes with little things (sorry) that you put in square holes so you can use screws to mount it and they come off easier than any others I've used which was a nice plus.
