This is the second KVM I've tried, the first was Kanex SnapX and it wasn't overly reliable. Kanex sometimes gave noise on the picture and disconnected. I was very happy to see the full picture without any interruptions from this thing. The keyboard macros are amazing too, I can press ctrl+ctrl+1 to connect to port 1 and so on, which is great because I can keep the KVM out of sight and never have to press the buttons on its front panel. Product works as advertised. The only downside is that it doesn't support EDID cloning for sources that aren't currently selected. Since it's DISplayPort, that means sources believe the display will turn off entirely when it's switched. I won't count this against the product as it never claimed to get EDID cloning support.

Unlike some other browsers, I had no problems with 2560 x 1600 at 60 Hz when switching between Mac, Windows machine and Linux system. (Maybe StarTech fixed this issue since they were posted?) I have keyboard issues from time to time as someone said but only a few times a week or so. The biggest downside is the lack of display emulation, which causes the Mac to shuffle windows every time you switch. It's annoying, but not worth paying double for a switch with this feature.
