Don't let this put you off - maybe I'm just an idiot, but it takes three hands to install this thing with a phone on my controller. After installation it works perfectly. This won't solve ALL the glare problems, but it will help.

This sun canopy is well made, the material used seems strong and durable. It works really well for what it was designed for. I use it with my DJI Air 2s and Huawei p20 and it fits the remote and phone very well. There are cutouts in the right places to securely fix the hood when installed on the controller. It won't wobble, move or wobble in place. Installing on the controller was very easy. Holes on the back make it easy to find a place for a phone holder.

This sun visor looks great and is well made but it doesn't work with my phone. If your phone barely fits in the top of the controller where two pins hold the phone in place, the extra thickness of the sun visor forces the pins to go in the side of the phone instead of the top. This means they can press any button on that side of the phone and the phone will pop out. This isn't a complicated matter of course. This does not solve glare problems under all circumstances, but usually helps a little and often enough. It's a bit fiddly to set up, but with a little practice it gets easier. Tip: Set it up for use and place it in the remote's phone holder before inserting your phone.
