They work great with Maple Hill Wool Dryer Balls. There is no need to use harmful fabric softeners. Simply replace the white vinegar with fabric softener in the wash cycle (yes, use the same dispenser), then use two of these towels along with 4 dryer balls and you won't have to worry about soft clothes or static (I live in Florida, where a lot humidity is present and static electricity is not a major problem anyway).

Began putting cotton clothes in the dryer to reduce static electricity. I read it somewhere. With reusable dryer sheets and added cotton, there is less static electricity. If possible, I try not to dry leggings in the dryer, but hang them up. Dryer sheets also add softness to the dryer.
