I bought this for my five year old for dance class. She is tall for her age but weighs around 40 pounds. The environment is a little loose (great place to grow all year round). Hello, sent the swimsuit back because of poor quality. The tulle was cheaply made and the double stitching on the sides (thigh part) made it so ugly and heavy on the hips. My daughter is 4 but she bought a 6/7 due to her height and it fits 4/5 more. The top was tight and the bottom came up. Not sure if 4/5 would fit better but suspect the top would be too tight.
