Stickers work well. They stay down. I've moved a few and they still stay in place. I would recommend tweezers. They fit nicely in the top left corner of my tiny bead storage boxes. They are transparent so do not obstruct the view of the contents of the container. I'm giving it to my sister for Christmas.

I bought a few other stickers with DMC numbers. They are so tiny I can barely see them let alone put them on top of my diamond paint bur storage cases. These "color number stickers" are much larger and clearer. I would highly recommend them to anyone who needs a simple thread numbering system for diamond painting or cross stitch. Many Thanks.

Numbered stickers are a good idea EXCEPT for the fact that not all Diamond Canvas have the same numbers as you have for stickers. As soon as the numbers exceed single digits, the alphabet is printed on the canvas. It would be better if your numbers stop at 9 and then go from A to Z. I made my own decals to match the canvas as for example you might have a decal numbered 3866 but on the canvas it might be the letter T.
