This duvet is perfect for fall and winter. We just needed something warmer for the winter months and this duvet exceeded my expectations. It's soft and comfortable. It is easy to wash in the household machine. He met all of our needs. I highly recommend this blanket.

I bought this because the company rep said in the Q&A that the filling is 80% cotton and 20% polyester. Not true. The label says 100% polyester. I sleep hot on polyester fill so I only buy 80% cotton and up. I read the label too late so I'm stuck. It is 2 cm shorter than stated. The top layer is soft but very thin.

I didn't know what to expect when I ordered this one, I read many reviews of many other duvets and decided to choose this one. I'm very happy with it, it's lightweight and will keep you warm on chilly nights and easy to take off when it gets warmer. I can't believe I was willing to pay over $200 for one from West Elm, the quality of this one is very good.

quilt is simple but beautiful - and not too heavy. I am very sensitive to smells so I was very pleased with the lack of an odd smell. It looks neutral, classic and longer than my old blanket. The only thing I didn't like was that the pillowcases are bigger than my large king size pillows. . . certainly not the end of the world.

UPDATE after a year and a half: it has become softer and fluffier over time. Still looks great after many washes and abuse from my older yellow lab who loves to spin a million times before settling down. It's small pills but I expected them in the wash/dog and was able to easily remove them with a cloth razor. Definitely recommend it.
