Works great with Arduino Uno

Just checked the Cardinfo sketch. Works great with Arduino Uno. However, when I tried it with NodeMCU LUA, I got a problem. Every time the MISO cable was connected to the nodeMCU, the MCU stopped working. Since the problem is likely with the NodeMCU and not the card reader, I'm giving this 4 runs.

Pros
  • Computer Accessories and Peripherals
Cons
  • Expensive Insurance

WARNING: DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT, IT IS A SCAM.

I've been trying to get this to work for 6 hours now. 2 different Arduinos. 2 different SD card libraries. Checked the wiring. I tried different formats of SD cards. None of them work. I will return this item as soon as possible.

Pros
  • Electronics
Cons
  • Functionality

Working correctly Computer accessories and peripherals

This module is working properly. in this. The simple fix is to remove and reinsert the card. 2 - no matter if selected or not (by chip selection), it consumes about 10 ml, which is not acceptable for my project. I need this module so it doesn't draw power when I go to sleep, but that's not the case here. In general I like it. However, if your project needs to run on battery power, I wouldn't recommend it unless you have an on/off switch for something.

Pros
  • Memory cards
Cons
  • Infinitely slow
