High quality hat, but with inaccurate sizing

I normally wear a 7 1/4 size hat which according to Stormy Kromer is a size medium, after reading the reviews I decided to go one size larger. When it arrived you can immediately tell this Trapper hat is of definite higher quality than the $15-50 hats you see in stores. Unfortunately the sizing is all wrong. When it arrived I expected it to fit perfectly, turns out I was wrong. It fit, it was extremely tight. Should’ve purchased an XL. I’ll keep the hat and gift it to another who loves these…

It doesn't get any better than Stormy Kromer !

I originally ordered this hat for my husband, but I tried in on when it arrived and decided it had to be mine. It is super warm and very well made. I may have to buy another one for my husband in a different pattern now.***Definitely order a size larger than what you think you need.

Love the hat - my new review

Love the hat! Love that it's made in the USA! Wish the fur was real! My son loved the hat for X-mas! Great Quality made beautifully.

The imitation fur is comfy and warm. The hat is well crafted and my bald head appreciated its warmth on some windy Maryland mornings with temps in the teens this winter.Size: I followed the Stormy Kromer company's sizing guide, measured my head's circumference and ordered a Large. It fits, but it is snug. Others have said these run a little small. That's my experience, too. Quality fabric, fur and sewing. Made in USA. Chin strap is snug for warmth but not so tight as to restrict jaw. Fits as expected. Great warranty.

Get what you pay for, for true outdoor cold weather people!

You really do get what you pay for with this hat. Likely most people reading this review know Stormy Kromer products for their quality amd this is no exception.Northern winter are brutal and the wife and I walk everywhere whenever possible. The pictures are from one of those cold wet snowstorms after about 5 miles of walking. My coat (north face non waterproof) was drenched outside and it was starting to get into the down filling, yet this hat was still dry as a bone one I shook off the snow…
