The size listed runs small (like many reviews) but doesn't seem to apply to my copy. These gloves are too big and while I can't say for sure, the big ones seem to be too big too. The gloves had a hole in the goatskin on the palm. The wool is only 80-85% and the wool is very thin. Sherpa lining is thin, goatskin is also thin. This all results in questionable designs and profit margins (I'll most likely return them), but they might work well for your needs.

We just got through the coldest days in years, hitting -17 with cold winds in the -40+ range and the mittens were almost too warm! I read a review on another site that said "I've just received the mittens and they don't seem very warm, very disappointed". Don't look at the mittens to see if they're warm, USE the mittens to see if they're warm!

These are my morning cold car mittens and they stay in the car so they get wet at first but warm up quickly. Also, the leather palm is not slippery, so they are nice to ride. I can click any button I need to click. The cuffs are long enough to stay under my coat sleeves and keep out drafts. There may be cheaper mittens with similar functionality, but they work well and look good.

Cute and quite warm although maybe not as heavy as some mittens. I would wear single digits, but they don't stay warm for long in these temperatures. After a bit of snow clearing, the leather upholstery started to wear out a bit.

These would be fine if you were having a slightly chilly day with no wind, but they are not for normal cold climates with biting winds. I found the planting large and not enough material for a New England winter. I returned them and bought something with more insulation.
