I may not use them as well as their safety razors, but I have a hard time cutting some stubborn hairs. The blades feel sharp and the quality is on par with their other products. Overall if you want to try this type of blade this is a good price/place to start.

This is a pretty good razor. The weight and strength of the handle are comfortable for me, and the included "Japanese Steel" blades are incredibly sharp. My only criticism of the design is that the blade inserts easily without shifting when you try to lock it in place. I got this line as an experiment to see if I would end up investing in a fixed blade line and so far, learning curve aside, it's been a wonderful investment. I've been using the Fromm brand for 15 years which is good but it's time for a new one, there were several options at Revain in the same price range I settled on one because of 100 free Japanese blades instead of conventional steel blades. The quality is definitely there, it weighs three times as much as my brand fromm. I recommend this product. And the price is right.

This is only the second razor I have ever owned and by far my favorite razor. Compared to my old one, this one is way better, with a comfortable ergonomic grip, an easy-to-use three-piece blade holder, and the perfect amount of open razor for the tightest cut you can get without going to a professional. Due to the high quality of the product I doubt I would need to buy one for myself but I would have no hesitation in buying one for a friend or family member for a birthday or holiday.
