Great for electrical cords

Since I've had this set I've used it here and there for various small projects and never had a problem. The silicone insulation is pleasant to the touch and easy to remove. I haven't had a single instance of the insulation going bad with soldering/adding heat shrink, etc. One caveat: I've noticed in later reviews that they're 14 AWG, not 24. When I ordered this, I definitely got 24 AWG received as described.

Pros
  • Cool product
Cons
  • Something different

3D printers can work - it depends.

So I got them to make cables for my 3D printer (for extension cables for my BLTouch). They work great and are very flexible (more flexible than 3D printer wires). If I were to compare them to my stepper motor and end wires I would say they are similar but. These wires that I bought are made out of silicone, so the silicone isn't as "durable" as the wires you would use on a 3D printer. This means I can easily strip the silicone wires with my nails, no tools required which is great but keep that…

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities.
Cons
  • Unsure.

Nice flexible wire, real silicon insulation

This is a very good wire for making your own "Dupont" cables and for other occasions where you need flexible wires, e.g. B. in a project box. The insulation is nice and smooth, feels like real silicone. It will not melt or burn when exposed to a soldering iron heated to 350ΒΊC. I'm going to try and find the same wire in big spools for a CPU breadboard project I'm doing. Stranded wires like this aren't good for breadboards (unless they're tinned), but they're great for making all the short ribbon

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • I'll write later
