Great Shoes - Athletic

I love the Stride Rite kids shoes, they make it very easy to find the right size on their website so I just go here and order from Revain prize awarded. Excellent sneakers, excellent quality, the grandchildren are delighted.

Pros
  • Top marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • So far so good

Best shoe purchase ever!

These are great shoes for my 3.5 year old son - he wears them every day and is a very active child. Very well made shoes and very comfortable. They'll last longer than any Oshkosh shoe, Carter shoe, or RL shoe you buy. Highly recommended!

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Mostly good but...

two uncomfortable insoles in EVERY shoe

If your child has wide feet, then that can be great. But unless they have wide feet, these shoes have an ill-fitting, narrow lining/sole on the inside that looks terribly uncomfortable (and is said to be stretchy for a kid with a wider foot using a second/bottom lining layer). / Outsole that really matches the shoes). Looks very uncomfortable for a normal sized foot. Bad design. I would send them back but my child ripped off the labels.

  • nice thing

Great shoes easy to walk in

We had another pair of Stride Rites and my son has stumbled in them so many times I was nervous about trying another pair. They're perfect though - he walks so well in them and sometimes when he stumbles he's able to stand on his feet (the design of the other shoes was obviously an issue). He has wide feet and they fit him. I will say this, I did notice that some of the rubber on the toe box got rubbed off of him when he re-tightened his feet but I'm so glad he can walk well in them compared to

Pros
  • Comfortable
Cons
  • Requires an outlet

Suitable for wider feet

My children have wide feet with a high arch and it is difficult to find shoes that fit. We usually reach for pedipeds, but when my kids outgrow their sneakers so quickly, sometimes I just can't afford it. It ended up working great for my 3 year old - we took out the insoles which fit a wider foot and they ended up fitting well. Not sure about the quality - they're definitely inferior to the Pediped so I'm not sure they'll last as long, but they're definitely cheaper.

Pros
  • practical item
Cons
  • don't know

Well made, better than other shoes at the same price

They are much more durable than the shoes I found for my son before. From day one he seemed very comfortable in it and had no walking/tangling issues. They have a wide foot option by simply taking out the insert, which is great if you find them too narrow. My son has wider feet I would say but we didn't have to remove the insoles. They held up much better than the sneakers I had for him before and they were comparable in price.

Pros
  • Athletic
Cons
  • boring packaging

Terrible quality!

I heard the Stride Rite kids shoes were good quality and looked cute so bought them for my 4 year old. What mistake! This is by far the worst purchase I have ever made from Revain. My son only uses them a few times a week when he goes to school and the occasional walk and he does NOT wear heavy shoes. The front only started to wear out after 2 weeks but I kept them because they are wide and comfortable. The front openings are getting bigger and today it's just the side hinge that broke. That's…

Pros
  • Shoes
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for seniors

Couldn't go the distance.

My son and I loved them when we first got them. However, they only lasted ONE month! He wore them almost every day, but he hasn't started school or kindergarten yet, so he doesn't wear shoes all day - every day. Therefore, they should NOT wear out in such a short time. When I noticed the hole in the sole of the right boot (which is almost flush with the inner lining - if you press the hole with the boot on, you can clearly feel the ball of your foot) we were already two days later the return…
