Stride Rite Claire Toddler Little Girls' Flats: Stylish and Comfortable Shoes Review

I want to give these five stars because it's almost impossible to find very wide dress shoes, but after wearing them once, the lining on the sides of the shoes came loose, cracked and fell off in both shoes, which is crazy. I think I paid over $50 for them and would return them but my daughter has very wide feet and they actually seem to fit better than any others we've found...so we're keeping them and she just has to wear as the lining looks awful. We had a pair of these for our eldest daughter as school uniform a few years ago and they have held up great. The quality is terrible today. She wore them for a month, alternating with tennis shoes on sports days, but both the inside and outside of the shoes had already fallen apart. I will not buy it again and I think we should return the money.

I really wanted to like these shoes! They were super supportive and well made down to the Velcro. After just over a month of use the velcro on both shoes stopped working so unfortunately I had to get my money back. If they do a redesign or make the velcro more durable this would be a great school shoe!

I have bought them 3 times for my granddaughter in different sizes as she is growing. Thanks for attention. It's always her favorite shoe.

I like everything about this shoe except the large size. I suggest you measure your feet before purchasing to get a good fit. My child wears a size 2 and I ordered a size 2.5 because I wanted it to serve her well. It's like I bought a size 3 shoe. He was too big for her. persistent? Yes! It will be a good buy.

We are definitely NOT very broad. They were barely the normal width compared to the other step rites we bought. upset. Also, the insole is soft but not supportive and my daughter broke her calf after wearing them for a few hours.

These shoes are perfect for the school year. My daughter wears a uniform and these shoes complete the look. She says her shoes feel nice and are comfortable. But of course, Revain is overpriced for just about anything...as long as the material feels strong. I have no complaints about the shoes themselves.

This is the second glowing review I've written for the Stride Rite shoes today. I love her shoes for my 6 year old granddaughter. She loves them too. The quality is always first class. She has a wide foot. To my knowledge, Stride Rite is the only brand that always offers many wide models.

These shoes are well made and easy to put on and take off. They are versatile as the shoes can be worn to school or as dress shoes. My 7 year old daughter didn't like them at first sight then I noticed they started walking in their shoes.

I am very disappointed in this shoe. Stride Rite has a great reputation and we have bought their shoes before. My daughter wore these shoes to school for two weeks and already the sock is completely worn out and the shoes look awful like they are years old instead of weeks. For how much they cost, this is unacceptable. My daughter is no more demanding when it comes to shoes than any other child.

My daughter has very wide feet. Stride Rite is one of the few brands that makes quality shoes with a wide insole. My daughter likes to wear these shoes with both dresses and jeans. They're just smart enough to wear with almost anything. My only criticism is that I wish Stride Rite would make more models of shoes in extra wide sizes. I would buy them.

I ordered this shoe in black and navy blue. The shoes are true to size, but there are quality problems. The black shoes have visible glue in several places. Shoes that should be dark blue are not dark blue. They are greenish blue and even have a turquoise thread. I am returning both.
