I used to have to heat a wax bath in the microwave, but now I just cut a few strips to the size I want, heat them with a hair dryer for a minute and you're ready to go. And if you separate them you can use both sides - bonus!

Because wax melts from friction when you rub your hands together, there's no way you can get scale. The strips work best on thick hair sections and work best on thicker long hair.
