Protects his little face from the sun but also the clear shield is great for traveling in an airport or when you’re out and about.The hat has an adjustable string that will make the hat feel snug so baby doesn’t pull it off. My son didn’t mind having it on as it allowed him to still see and move his head around. Definitely recommend. Plus it’s reversible!

I love this hat. I use it when we go out to protect my little one from all the germs out there. Love that you can take off the shield and it's just a sun hat. It's perfect.
