1. This iron does not slip on the fabric - it increases wrinkling. 2. The temperature dial will not stay in place when barely touched, allowing the user to accidentally turn it to a position inappropriate for the fabric being ironed. I used to have great Sunbeam irons so I was very disappointed.

I love this iron! I'm a quilter and while I'm working on a quilt I get up all day and iron it. With other irons I ironed a seam then returned to the sewing machine and when I got back the stupid iron was already off and cooling so I had to wait for it to heat up again! It has an auto shut off after 15 minutes and for the price you can't beat it! Most other irons shut off after 2-8 minutes, which is probably fine if you're just ironing a shirt during the day, but I need a workhorse and won't pay
