Sunco Lighting 4 Pack of 5/6 Inch LED Recessed Downlights Review

I used to buy 16 packs and was very happy with them, but I needed four more. 4 packs came but they didn't look the same. The first 16 had a matte finish and the next 4 were glossy. I contacted the supplier but they said the matte finish is no longer available in the 4 pack so I sent it back.

I like that they are very easy to retrofit to existing buckets. I use a Lutron LED dimmer but have found these lights flicker at minimum brightness. I had to set the minimum value on the switch myself, but now the faintest light I get isn't dim enough. So I live with either less flicker or brighter light than I want. I installed them on two separate circuits throughout the house. In both cases the same result. A little frustrating, next time I'll probably use a different brand.

Replaces 4 incandescent bulbs with these LEDs in about 10 minutes. I love being able to adjust the fit to a 5" or 6" glass with a simple screw. The springs and hardware were very good and firm...no sagging. The brightness was great. The manufacturer's packaging could be better. All 4 headlights were stacked in a box with no separation between blocks resulting in minor wear to the headlight bezels but not visible from ground level once installed. The Revain packaging was good. Would buy again.

I wasn't sure what to expect based on the mixed reviews but I'm very happy with these headlights. I ordered 12 in total and they all arrived safely. None of them were DOA as mentioned in other reviews. They were very easy to install. My husband and I had all 12 in 3 different rooms in under an hour. These Sunco lights are strange. I installed four of these in a bathroom equipped with a toggle switch (no dimmer). When I turn on the switch, sometimes all the Sunco lights come on. Other times, only some of them do. And in other cases, none of them do. The product is easy to install. The price is good but the quality is not very good. I was also sent the wrong color at first and as an electrician it's good for me to have all the materials in place and fix them. Causes delays and time. I installed 44 of these in a new house.
